What You’d Be Doing

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team. The BDR will be responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and lead generation efforts. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to break into a sales career and build a solid foundation of skills and knowledge.

As a BDR, you will initiate exploratory calls with prospects to see if they’d be an ideal customer. You’ll need to know our solution offerings inside and out so you can communicate their purpose and value to prospective customers. You’ll be responsible for sourcing leads from a variety of places (including phone calls, emails, and social media), building contact lists, and then reaching out to contacts to gauge their interest.

For a prospect who is a good fit, you will schedule a discovery call or meeting for a member of their sales team and the prospect. It’s up to the salesperson to deepen the relationship with the prospect and eventually get them to close.

Accountable for:

  • 10 Sales Qualified Leads per month
  • $60,000 in ACV closed per month

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct high volume outbound prospecting to potential clients, including cold calls, emails, social media, and in-person outreach
  • Qualify leads and schedule appointments for the sales team
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting and lead generation activities in the CRM
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute on effective sales strategies
  • Participate in sales training and development programs to continually improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of sales or business development experience (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
